Updating itunes music library
If you'd read my answer (and not only my name since you apparently don't like my answer to your question on Super User), you'd would know that the fact you only use i Tunes to sync i Pod has no bearing whatsoever on the answer provided. i Tunes use to pickup on new music I added but now you have to put it the "watch folder" and of course then it moves it from there into the library. If you're asking some sort of different question, maybe you should make that question clear. That wont work when I use Google Music Manager and have my cloud music sync to my hard drive. (I'm running i Tunes in Windows) I had to do it the hard way after running a program to remove duplicates from my computer.
And if you watch on Apple TV 4K, you’ll be able to enjoy a tremendous selection of your favorite content in 4K HDR.
Then, from the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or the top of the i Tunes window, choose File * When you choose Merge, songs on your device that are in the Apple Music catalog become instantly available to access on your other devices.
On i Phone, i Pad, and i Pod touch, songs that we can't match are shown on your other devices.
If you are such a music aficionado, then you should learn to manually update i Cloud Music Library. The reason is simple: all major launches and updates by Apple are not without bugs.
At least we find all beta versions laced with bugs.
